Kayaking
With this warmer weather my family and I enjoy going kayaking. It is a great way to exercise while enjoying your time out in nature. I love the idea that you can do this with family and friends and do not need to be an expert to start. My kids started at a young age and continue to go as adults.
Kayaking can help improve your aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility. Specific health benefits are particularly noted in the back, arms, shoulders, and chest from moving the paddle.
Key things we take on our kayaking trips: sunscreen, hats, water shoes, whistles, lifejackets, drinks, sunglasses, and of course don’t forget your paddles.
I personally love kayaking because it’s good for my mind, body, and soul.
